War-FTPd 1.65

War-FTPd is most popular windows ftp daemon.   It's widely used by siteops in the scene.  However, War-FTPd is not as more complex ftp server softwares like glFTPd or rFTPd for Linux OS, but it still beats changing your OS I would say.  War FTP Daemon is the premier FTP server for Windows 9x and NT. War-FTPd 1.66 Upgrade

War-FTPd 1.66 upgrade provides bug fixes for running War on Windows98/NT systems according to the bug reports of various siteops.  To install, simply unzip, and replace the old warftpd.exe file and start War-FTPd again.

War-FTPd 1.66s Upgrade

War-FTPd 1.66s is the second upgrade that also provides bug fixes for problems running War on Windows98/NT.  If 1.66s works for you, there is no need to download 1.66 then upgrade it to 1.66s.  To install, simply unzip, and replace the old warftpd.exe file and start War-FTPd again.
